A selection
of my art work
A body of work examining faith, perception and form through thread and sculpture.
Work exhibited in the UK, US, Spain, South Africa and Azerbaijan.
Dervish
The Dervish depicts a whirling figure drawn with thread and nails. Thousands of intersecting lines gather into light and shadow, balancing one hand towards heaven and one towards earth.
Made from one 465-yard black thread, the work holds movement inside stillness. Its geometry is tender, inviting a quiet pause and a breath of dhikr in any space.

Luna Contri
Forged from 1,861 yards of thread and 6,185 nails, Luna Contri depicts the prophetic sign of the moon splitting.
The stillness between the two forms turns absence into evidence. Taut strands map shadow against light, suggesting how fracture can become fulfilment and silence can become testimony.

Bee like a Believer
Created through months of calligraphy design and hand carving, Bee like a Believer reflects virtue, purity and the delicate nature of righteous impact.
Its flowing form joins the grace of the bee with the believer's gentle purpose, inviting reflection on purity of intention and delicacy of impact.
“The believer is like a bee, consuming what is pure, producing what is pure, neither breaking nor corrupting upon landing.”

Nations & Tribes
Hand carved from ethically sourced Indonesian teakwood, Nations & Tribes celebrates Africa's enduring legacy and the divine wisdom found in diversity.
Calligraphy and organic forms unite sacred text with sacred land, inviting reflection on how difference becomes beauty and boundaries become pathways to understanding.
وَجَعَلۡنَٰكُمۡ شُعُوبٗا وَقَبَآئِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوٓاْۚ
“We made you into nations and tribes that you may know one another. (49:13)”

X Through the Fire
X Through the Fire is a limited edition digital artwork exploring resistance, legacy and enduring conviction through photography, illustration, AI and hand-drawn detail.
