Privacy and analytics
First-party analytics helps us understand which pages, sections and links are useful. It runs by default; you can turn it off here at any time. Analytics choices do not affect access to the website.
Analytics controls are available on the published site.
What is measured
We measure page views, section visibility, scrolling milestones, active time, button/link interactions, download clicks and contact-form outcomes. On the DELTA application page we also count password-screen views and unlock success or failure, never the password entered.
Random browser and session IDs help distinguish visits. They are pseudonymous, not your name or identity. Sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. We may record the referring website, safe campaign codes, broad device/browser categories and approximate country if the hosting infrastructure provides it.
What is not collected
Analytics does not record names, email addresses, message contents, password values, keystrokes, screen recordings, precise location or raw IP addresses. We do not fingerprint your browser or bypass blockers. Browser privacy signals such as Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable analytics, even if you previously allowed it.
Downloads and technical logs
The server may count a full PDF request separately from browser analytics, using a fresh, uncorrelated ID for direct requests without a browser analytics session. Turning analytics off or sending a privacy signal also disables this measurement. Known bots, prefetches and partial-range requests are excluded where detectable. A request is not proof of saving or reading a file.
Security rate limits use temporary one-way hashed network-address counters, not visitor reports. Hosting services may maintain their own technical/security logs. Contact details submitted through the contact form are processed separately to handle your enquiry.
Storage and control
Your opt-out choice is stored for up to 180 days. A random browser ID is stored locally while analytics is enabled, until you turn it off or clear storage. Session data and short-lived cookies help connect activity; a ten-minute download cookie limits repeat file-request counting. With storage blocked, measurement may be limited to the current page or browser tab.
The configured retention defaults are 180 days for detailed events and 24 months for non-identifying daily counts. Automated cleanup must be approved by the site owner; until enabled, history is retained. The owner can reduce retention or delete data through the protected dashboard. Turning analytics off stops future collection and clears analytics identifiers, but cannot identify or remove already-pseudonymous history.
Analytics is inspectable using browser tools and may be blocked. It is not guaranteed to capture every visit. Return here at any time to turn it off or back on. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control always disable collection.
